Parent Involvement
CCCC believes regular parent involvement is essential to the organization. It helps:
- Maintain the quality of the overall childcare program.
- Enhance parents’ understanding of how our classrooms work.
- Allow more opportunities for enrichment activities such as field trips and small group projects.
Because of our strong belief in the value of parent involvement, we encourage all parents to make a volunteer commitment. Parents can volunteer with activities such as assisting in the classroom, reading to small groups of children, leading music activities, attending field trips, preparing classroom materials, participating in work parties or helping with maintenance of CCCC materials. In addition, parents are welcome to join CCCC’s volunteer Board of Directors or to participate in a Board committee.
Parents who are unable to volunteer time but would like to contrinbute to our programs may substitute an in-kind contribution or a cash donation. For more information on Parent Involvement, please contact your Site Director, Executive Director or Business Administrator.
Parents are always welcome to visit any of our centers. Please let a staff person know when you arrive in the building. Parents are welcome to share a meal or a snack with their child. If you would like to do so, please provide 24 hours notice to the Site Director so that the cook can plan for an additional adult.
