Parent Involvement
CCCC relies on parent involvement at all levels of the organization to enrich the experience for our children and staff. Parents have enjoy volunteering their time:
- in the classroom: reading to children; assisting with special projects; or chaperoning field trips.
- at the center: helping at a Scholastic bookfair, seasonal party or open house; participating in a outdoor clean-up day; watering & weeding the vegetable gardens at Growing Oaks or Lancaster centers
- for the organization: planning activities for staff appreciation week; participating in an outreach event (daVinci Days, 4th of July Parade); organizing a fundraising event; joining a board committee; or serving on the board of directors.
